The R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting East Rutherford Cavaliers (Bostic, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Hilltoppers now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Draughn for a Western Piedmont 3A/4A match on Thursday, September 18. R-S Central will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-4.
