September 20, 2024: Big Lake, AK 99652 The Seward Seahawks volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Houston Hawks to 0 in the Seahawks league triumph on Friday.
The Seahawks now have a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Nikiski for a 3A Southcentral outing on Tuesday, September 24. Seward will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Soldotna (Soldotna, AK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Houston drops to 2-13 on the campaign. The Hawks host Kenai Central (Kenai, AK) to play the Kardinals in a 3A Southcentral outing on Saturday, September 21. The Kardinals come into the outing with a record of 17-1. Kenai Central won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Palmer (Palmer, AK)
