The Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) football were winner over the visiting Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), 41-19 in Friday's league outing.

The Mavericks now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeland for a Lakes Valley outing on Friday, October 24. Milford will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 23-21 league win over Mott (Waterford, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Walled Lake Central drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI) to face the Warriors in a Lakes Valley game on Friday, October 24. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 6-2. Walled Lake Western won 41-21 in their recent league game against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI)
