January 3, 2025: Gaston, NC 27832

The Northampton County Jaguars basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Warren County Eagles to 43 in the Jaguars league triumph on Friday.

The Jaguars now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Southeast Halifax for a 1A Tar Roanoke game on Tuesday, January 7. Northampton County will play a Trojans team coming off a 80-34 league loss to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Warren County falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC) to play the Tigers in a 1A Tar Roanoke game on Friday, January 10. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 7-3.
