The East Rowan Mustangs basketball squad (Salisbury, NC), was crushed 68-25 in Thursday's league battle with the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC)

With the victory, Northwest Cabarrus advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Trojans host South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to meet the Raiders in a 3A South Piedmont battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 1-17. South Rowan lost 77-45 in their recent league battle against Concord (Concord, NC)

The Mustangs now own a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a 3A South Piedmont battle on Friday, January 24. East Rowan will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 78-52 league loss to Carson (China Grove, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-9.
