In Friday's league test, the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), by a score of 62-28.

Next, the Spiders clash with the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont test, on Friday, January 24. Concord will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record.

The Mustangs (1-15) will now prepare for their test against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Trojans come into the 3A South Piedmont test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Northwest Cabarrus bounced Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 57-52, in a league test.
