Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC), 48-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hough upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to play the Hawks in a 3A/4A Conference 60 bout on Friday, January 27. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 1-12. West Mecklenburg lost 66-18 in their recent league bout against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 60 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Chambers will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record.
