The Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) basketball crushed the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 73-41 in Friday's league test.

The Mavericks (12-2) will now prepare for their test against West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks go into the 3A/4A Conference 60 test with a 1-8 record.

The Huskies now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hopewell for a 3A/4A Conference 60 test on Friday, January 13.
