Florida High School Basketball - Central overwhelms Citrus

December 19, 2023: Inverness, FL 34452

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) and the host Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL), saw Central's basketball squad wallop Citrus by a tally of 85-42.

With the victory, Central improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Vanguard (Ocala, FL) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Vanguard won 71-49 in their recent non-league challenge against West Port (Ocala, FL)

Next up, the Hurricanes confront the Fivay Falcons (Hudson, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. Citrus will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 70-51 non-league win over Patel (Tampa, FL).
