Michigan High School Basketball - White Cloud holds off Newaygo
February 3, 2023: White Cloud, MI 49349 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the White Cloud Indians (White Cloud, MI) and the visiting Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI), saw White Cloud's basketball squad hold off Newaygo by a tally of 65-63.
With the victory, White Cloud improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Holton (Holton, MI) to confront the Red Devils in a Western Michigan Lakes - Rivers challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 0-14. Holton lost 56-30 in their recent league challenge against Ravenna (Ravenna, MI)
Next up, the Lions confront the Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars (Big Rapids, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 6. Newaygo will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 90-9 league loss to Mason County Eastern (Custer, MI).
