Washington, DC High School Basketball - Ron Brown nips Anacostia

January 15, 2025: Washington, DC 20020

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Ron Brown Monarchs basketball team scored a close 50-47 triumph over the Anacostia Indians.

The Monarchs (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against New Hope Academy Regional (Landover Hills, MD). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, New Hope Academy Regional nipped Varsity Opponent (, ), 65-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Coolidge Colts (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA AA contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Anacostia will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record.
