The Coolidge Colts basketball team (Washington, DC), was nudged 58-51 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC)
The Indians now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunbar for a DCIAA battle on Friday, January 6. Anacostia will confront a Crimson Tide team coming off a 53-19 league loss to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 4-7.
The Colts (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Ballou (Washington, DC). The Knights come into the DCSAA A battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Ballou edged Cardozo (Washington, DC), 57-55, in a league battle.
