Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Bard Falcons (Washington, DC) and the host Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers (Washington, DC), saw Bard's basketball squad wallop Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering by a tally of 72-40.

With the victory, Bard improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Bell (Washington, DC) to confront the Griffins in a DCIAA challenge on Friday, January 6. The Griffins come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Bell lost 48-39 in their recent league challenge against Banneker (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Ron Brown Monarchs (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA A challenge, on Friday, January 6. Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 62-27 league loss to McKinley Tech (Washington, DC).
