McKinley Tech Trainers (Washington, DC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Woodson Warriors (Washington, DC), 55-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, McKinley Tech upgrades its record to 16-10 on the campaign. The Trainers travel to Eastern (Washington, DC) to play the Ramblers in a DCSAA A bout on Friday, February 9. The Ramblers come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Eastern won 45-34 in their recent league bout against Ron Brown (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Warriors play the Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA AA bout, on Friday, February 9. Woodson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 28-2 record after their 81-25 league win over Anacostia (Washington, DC).
