The George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) basketball nipped the host Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA), 45-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Maroons (28-3) will now prepare for their test against Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 28-0 record. In their last test, Lancaster got by Altavista (Altavista, VA), 69-40, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 25-9 record.
