Puka Nacua of
Orem (Utah) saw his high school football career came to an end on a high note. He played a major role in the Tiger's back-to-back 4A state championships and earned the MaxPreps Polyneisan Bowl Player of the Week award after hauling in nine receptions for 182 yards and two touchdowns against Dixie (St. George) in their 60-13 win.
His two receiving touchdowns gave him 26 for the season, setting the new Utah single-season state record. He also broke the single-season state records for receptions (103) and receiving yards (2,336). The 2019 USC commit's 2,336 yards receiving in one season is good for fifth best all-time and needed just 129 more yards to set the new record.
Only players who are selected for the
2019 and
