The Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) basketball edged the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 66-61 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 13-2 record. They play next when they host South Brunswick for a 3A/4A Mideastern bout on Tuesday, January 21. Hoggard will play a Cougars team coming off a 81-34 league loss to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-10.
