The Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) basketball toppled the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 57-42 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Northern Guilford for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. Hoggard will play a Nighthawks team coming off a 64-44 non-league loss to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, West Brunswick falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Whiteville (Whiteville, NC) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 26. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
