The Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), 75-58 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 18-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Brunswick for a 3A/4A Mideastern bout on Tuesday, February 11. Hoggard will play a Cougars team coming off a 61-44 league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-16.

With the loss, Ashley falls to 9-13 on the campaign. The Screaming eagle host Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to play the Pirates in a 3A/4A Mideastern bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 8-13.
