The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops basketball team (Lynchburg, VA), was overwhelmed 85-45 in Thursday's league battle with the host Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA)

The Mavericks now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Word of God Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Sunday, January 22. Miller School of Albemarle will confront a Holy Rams team coming off a 46-43 non-league win over DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Holy Rams record now stands at 12-12.
