Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) and the host Cabarrus Charter Huskies (Concord, NC), saw Corvian Community's basketball squad wallop Cabarrus Charter by a count of 91-50.

With the victory, Corvian Community upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC) to play the Wildcats in a 1A Conference 38 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-7.

Next up, the Huskies play the Apprentice Academy Red Wolves (Monroe, NC) in a 1A Conference 38 challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. Cabarrus Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record.
