North Carolina High School Basketball - Huss nudges Crest

In Friday's league outing, the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) basketball squad edged the host Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC), by a count of 77-70.

The Huskies (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers go into the 3A Conference 50 outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Kings Mountain held off Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 61-55, in a league outing.

The Chargers now hold a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ashbrook for a 3A Conference 50 outing on Tuesday, January 24. Crest will clash with a Greenwave squad coming off a 61-55 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Greenwave record now stands at 1-16.
