The Bishop McNamara Mustangs basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights to 68 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeMatha for a Washington Catholic contest on Friday, January 27. Bishop McNamara will battle a Stags team coming off a 90-52 league win over Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Stags record now stands at 13-8.

The Knights (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against West Ranch (Valencia, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 23-1 record.
