Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), 68-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Potomac upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Wolverines host Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD) to play the Yellowjackets in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Thursday, January 26. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Gwynn Park won 58-49 in their recent league bout against Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD)

Next up, the Falcons play the Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout, on Thursday, January 26. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
