North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky River tops East Mecklenburg

January 26, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28212

Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC), 66-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rocky River upgrades its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Ravens host Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cougars in a 4A Southwestern bout on Friday, February 2. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 12-6.

Next up, the Eagles play the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Southwestern bout, on Tuesday, January 30. East Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 1-16 record after their 67-34 league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC).
