In Saturday's league match, the visiting River Forest Ingots basketball team scored a good 64-50 triumph over the Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles.

In their next game, the Ingots meet the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors (Hammond, IN) in a Greater South Shore match, on Tuesday, January 30. River Forest will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 13-6 record after their 92-30 league win over Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN).
