The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) and the visiting East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), observed Carson's basketball team overwhelm East Rowan by a score of 72-29.

The Cougars (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs come into the 3A South Piedmont challenge with a 17-2 record. In their last challenge, Robinson trounced West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 83-42, in a league challenge.
