North Carolina High School Basketball - South Mecklenburg crushes Olympic

February 3, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28210

South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 100-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Sabres travel to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Conference 49 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 18-4. Myers Park won 68-53 in their recent non-league bout against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Conference 49 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Olympic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 75-74 league win over Harding University (Charlotte, NC).
