Washington, DC High School Basketball - Banneker edges McKinley Tech
February 5, 2024: Washington, DC 20002 The Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) basketball nipped the host McKinley Tech Trainers (Washington, DC), 62-56 in Monday's league test.
The Bulldogs (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Roosevelt (Washington, DC). The Roughriders go into the DCSAA AA test with a 18-6 record. In their last test, Roosevelt got by Anacostia (Washington, DC), 59-25, in a league test.
The Trainers now own a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to Woodson for a DCSAA AA test on Wednesday, February 7. McKinley Tech will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 77-47 league loss to Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering (Washington, DC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-14.
