The Tivy Antlers basketball team (Kerrville, TX), was toppled 53-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX)

The Patriots now possess a 29-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon for a 5A Region IV District 26 battle on Friday, February 10. Veterans Memorial will confront a Cougars team coming off a 73-43 league loss to Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 7-26.

The Antlers (16-8) will now prepare for their battle against Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX). The Rangers come into the 5A Region IV District 26 battle with a 7-19 record. In their last battle, Smithson Valley beat Pieper (San Antonio, TX), 55-53, in a league battle.
