Indiana High School Basketball - Delta fells New Castle

February 14, 2025: Muncie, IN 47303

The Delta Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting New Castle Trojans to 46 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rushville for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Delta will confront a Lions team coming off a 51-38 league loss to Batesville (Batesville, IN). The Lions record now stands at 3-16.

With the loss, New Castle falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Trojans host Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN) to confront the Arabians in a Hoosier Heritage game on Tuesday, February 18. The Arabians go into the game with a record of 7-13. Pendleton Heights lost 67-53 in their recent non-league game against Whiteland (Whiteland, IN)
