The Overhills Jaguars basketball team (Spring Lake, NC), was nudged 45-43 in Thursday's league battle with the host Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC)

The Hawks now possess a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harnett Central for a 3A/4A All-American contest on Friday, February 16. Triton will battle a Trojans team coming off a 62-39 league loss to Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 7-13.

The Jaguars (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans enter the 3A/4A All-American contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Pine Forest nudged Harnett Central (Angier, NC), 62-39, in a league contest.
