North Carolina High School Volleyball - Currituck County can't hold off First Flight

September 13, 2025: Barco, NC 27917

In Saturday's non-league match, the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) volleyball squad tipped the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Nighthawks battle the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 15. First Flight will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Aces come into the bout with a 12-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Gates County (Gatesville, NC).

With the loss, Currituck County drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Knights host Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Deep Creek won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA)
