The Hopewell Titans basketball team (Huntersville, NC), was overwhelmed 79-56 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC)

The Vikings now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camden for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13. North Mecklenburg will battle a Panthers team coming off a 62-48 non-league win over Moorestown (Moorestown, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 11-1.

The Titans (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies come into the 3A/4A Queen City battle with a 4-10 record.
