The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Weslaco East Wildcats (Weslaco, TX) and the visiting Donna Redskins (Donna, TX), observed Weslaco East's basketball team edge Donna by a score of 40-36.

The Wildcats (7-21) will now prepare for their challenge against Porter (Brownsville, TX). The Cowboys come into the 5A Region IV District 32 challenge with a 3-24 record. In their last challenge, Porter was tipped by Pace (Brownsville, TX), 41-31, in a league battle.
