The Weslaco East Wildcats basketball squad (Weslaco, TX), was nudged 33-27 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Pace Vikings (Brownsville, TX)

With the victory, Pace advances its record to 6-9 on the year. The Vikings travel to Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX) to meet the Hawks in a 5A Region IV District 32 battle on Friday, December 6. The Hawks enter the battle with a record of 11-5. Harlingen South won 58-37 in their recent league battle against Rivera (Brownsville, TX)
