Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) backers were thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team bounce the visiting Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ), 58-22 in a league game.

The Lions now have a 11-9 record. They play next when they host O'Connor for a 6A Desert Valley game on Thursday, January 29. Liberty will confront a Eagles team coming off a 71-51 league win over Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 14-2.

The Jaguars (6-14) will now prepare for their outing against O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles enter the 6A Desert Valley outing with a 15-2 record.
