Arizona High School Basketball - Shadow Ridge holds off Boulder Creek

January 9, 2026: Anthem, AZ 85086

The Shadow Ridge Stallions basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Boulder Creek Jaguars to 52 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Stallions now have a 12-2 record. They play next when they host Tolleson for a 6A West Valley game on Tuesday, January 13. Shadow Ridge will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-5.

The Jaguars (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against Apollo (Glendale, AZ). The Hawks enter the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Apollo was nipped by Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ), 54-31, in a non-league outing.
