Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team smash the host West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ), 60-30 in a league contest.

The Stallions (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Apollo (Glendale, AZ). The Hawks go into the 6A West Valley contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Apollo smashed Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ), 64-27, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Tolleson Wolverines (Tolleson, AZ) in a 6A West Valley match, on Friday, January 30. West Point will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record.
