The Philip Barbour Colts basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Liberty Mountaineers to 23 in the Colts league triumph on Wednesday.

The Colts now have a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Preston for a Big Ten game on Friday, January 31. Philip Barbour will confront a Knights team coming off a 42-32 league win over Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV). The Knights record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Liberty falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV) to confront the Polar Bears in a Big Ten game on Friday, January 31. The Polar Bears go into the game with a record of 6-9. Fairmont Senior lost 65-55 in their recent league game against Lincoln (Shinnston, WV)
