In Thursday's league test, the Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) basketball squad trounced the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), by a score of 71-50.

Next, the Colts encounter the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) in a Big Ten test, on Friday, February 14. Philip Barbour will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 6-14 record after their 41-35 non-league win over South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV).

The Knights (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD). The Miners come into the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Mountain Ridge bounced Shalom Christian Academy (Chambersburg, PA), 55-43, in a non-league test.
