North Carolina High School Basketball - Central Cabarrus triumphant over South Rowan

January 31, 2025: China Grove, NC 28023

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) and the host South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), observed Central Cabarrus's basketball team overwhelm South Rowan by a margin of 71-43.

The Vikings (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights come into the 3A South Piedmont challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Lake Norman Charter was trounced by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 80-75, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. South Rowan will attempt to better on its 1-19 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 72-29 league loss to Carson (China Grove, NC).
