Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) and the visiting Superior Wildcats (Superior, NE), saw Thayer Central's basketball squad hold off Superior by a count of 30-28.

With the victory, Thayer Central upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Deshler (Deshler, NE) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Deshler lost 47-37 in their recent non-league battle against Shelton (Shelton, NE)
