January 6, 2023: Frisco, TX 75035 The Centennial Titans (Frisco, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), 59-45 in Friday's league test.
The Titans (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Memorial (Frisco, TX). The Warriors go into the 5A Region II District 10 test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, Memorial notched a victory over Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX), 83-63, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to Emerson for a 5A Region II District 10 test on Tuesday, January 10. Independence will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 73-60 league loss to Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-11.
