Florida High School Basketball - Hernando ripped by Central

December 5, 2023: Brooksville, FL 34601

The Central Bears basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Hernando Leopards to 52 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crystal River for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Central will meet a Pirates team coming off a 67-57 non-league win over Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 3-2.

The Leopards (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL). The Hornets enter the 4A District 9 contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Weeki Wachee was routed by Citrus (Inverness, FL), 70-62, in a non-league contest.
