In Friday's league outing, the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC), by a margin of 70-20.

The Yellowjackets (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Conference 43 outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Murphy smashed Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC), 77-49, in a league outing.
