The Rich Township Raptors nipped the host Thornton Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 77-70 in Monday's league outing.

Next, the Raptors clash with the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) in a Southland outing, on Friday, February 14. Rich Township will attempt to upgrade on its 19-7 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 18-10 record after their 48-39 league win over Thornton (Harvey, IL).

The Wildcats (8-18) will now prepare for their outing against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL). The Blazing Trojan enter the Southland outing with a 17-8 record. In their last outing, Bloom got by Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL), 66-45, in a non-league outing.
