The Nansemond River Warriors basketball squad scored 64 points and held the visiting Western Branch Bruins to 53 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Nansemond River advances its record to 15-6 on the year. The Warriors host King's Fork (Suffolk, VA) to face the Bulldogs in a Southeastern match on Friday, February 14. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 17-2. King's Fork won 77-44 in their recent league match against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)

The Bruins now own a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeland for a Southeastern match on Thursday, February 13. Western Branch will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 99-82 league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-12.
