Texas High School Basketball - Juarez-Lincoln ripped by Nixon

The Nixon Mustangs basketball team scored 99 points and held the visiting Juarez-Lincoln Huskies to 26 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 21-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rio Grande City for a 5A Region IV District 30 contest on Friday, February 10. Nixon will meet a Rattlers team coming off a 56-46 league win over Roma (Roma, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 19-15.

The Huskies (0-26) will now prepare for their contest against Roma (Roma, TX). The Gladiators enter the 5A Region IV District 30 contest with a 13-14 record. In their last contest, Roma was routed by Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX), 56-46, in a league contest.
