Iowa High School Baseball - Winterset loses to North Polk
June 12, 2024: Alleman, IA 50007 The North Polk Comets baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Winterset Huskies to 0 in the Comets non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Comets (13-3) will now prepare for their match against Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 14-5 record. In their last match, Saydel ran past Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA), 5-4, in a non-league match.
The Huskies (7-9) will now prepare for their match against Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Bluejays go into the non-league match with a 11-7 record. In their last match, Bondurant-Farrar ran past Ballard (Huxley, IA), 4-1, in a non-league match.
